Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 26, 2026

At Wise Apple, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website and services.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect information about you in various ways:

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

3. Emails to Free Accounts and Marketing Emails

A free account gets the email that confirms its address and the emails needed to run the account, such as a password reset. It gets no other email unless you tick the "Email me new PowerCores" box when you sign up. That box starts unticked. Every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can stop them at any time.

4. Public Reviews and Retention

Reviews are hidden until human approval. If approved, the rating, review text, chosen display name, optional country, optional photo, and review date may be displayed publicly. The usage snapshot, account key, and hashed IP address are not displayed. We use Firebase only to authenticate the submission request and then discard the raw token and user ID.

A submitted review is an independent content record. Deleting your Firebase account does not automatically remove or anonymize an approved review. You can delete your current review while you can still access the signed-in app, or ask Wise Apple support to remove it later. We may retain prior versions and limited abuse records for security, consent, and moderation audit purposes.

5. Data Processing Location

Our Service uses in-browser processing for machine learning computations. This means your trading analysis data is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. Your PowerCore configurations and analysis results remain private to you.

6. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information:

Deleting your account. You can delete your account yourself in the app, under Settings, Account. If you have an active membership, cancel it in Manage billing first. Deleting your account removes your profile, your cloud backups, your device sync, and your Trader Chat name, which is replaced with an anonymous one. Billing records stay with Stripe because the law requires us to keep them. Anything kept in your own browser stays there until you clear it.

9. Browser Storage, Cookies and Counting

We count visits with our own counter. It sets no cookies, and we do not use Google Analytics or advertising cookies. We do not use fingerprinting: we never combine details of your device or browser to recognize you.

The app uses plain browser storage on your device. Even for a guest, it keeps:

A guest's work, such as PowerCore changes and test results, is wiped when the tab is closed. A free account's saved work stays on that device. When you sign in, Firebase keeps your sign-in in your browser storage. Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout pages, and Cloudflare, which hosts our website, may set a strictly necessary security cookie. You can clear browser storage and cookies at any time in your browser settings; the app then treats you as a new visitor.

10. Third-Party Links

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these external sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

11. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes your acknowledgment and acceptance of the updated policy.

13. Contact Us

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact us through our website.
